Tucson-Almaty Sister Cities helped artisans from Almaty, Kazakhstan came over to Tucson for a large Gem and Mineral Show. Altay spent several days after school and weekends helping them out by acting as an interpreter for them.

We visited Furr's Family Resturant frequently, but not enough I'm afraid. I use the microwave too much in warming up TV dinners or pre-prepared food ... not quite the same as fully cooked fresh food.

Winter did actually come to Tucson (in the Mountains North of us) in late January ... then sorta went away until March. Oh it was cool, but not COLD!

Time again for another Hair Cut ... tried to get Altay to give some of his to me, but no success!

The second half of Soccer seasons was during this month.
