| Boy, this is a busy month. The month of December had many things occuring in it and a ton of pictures. Besides more Soccer, Altay became my helper as I played around being Father Christmas (Santa Claus). As we traveled to San Diego during Christmas Vacation, he played in the sands dunes near Yuma and danced 50 feet below sea level. The large water tank in the background had sea level marked half way up its side! We had a good time with my Brother LeRoy, his Wife Mary and their family. Altay made friends with the family dog Dolly. Received his first electric razor and other presents. Participated in a self portrait using an old mirrow. Altay wanted to see the Ocean and swim in it. AND, when we tried to go to Disneyland, got to direct traffic when the car blew a water hose! Sorry to say, we didn't make Disneyland this try. Then we went to Las Vegas where Altay played in the North American Open Chess Championship ... placing 6th ! I was so proud of him! Had a little time to look around before we left. It snowed on the day we left ... 1st time it snowed in Las Vegas on this day in 50 years. Enjoy looking at one group at a time on the bottom ... lots of pictures involved. Including the roller coaster he rode at New York New York! Hope you survive the pictures ! |
