Sister Cities International Festival

Tucson-Almaty Sister Cities Committee
actively participated in the Sister Cities International Festival that took place in Tucson on November 14, 2001.
 

 

Tucson-Almaty presented a beautiful exposition of souveneers  and artifacts from the sister city of Almaty.
Bill Chinworth designed the stand for the exposition, Sally and Jerry Gary brought their beautiful collection of soveniers to the display

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The members of the TASCC prepared some traditional

Kazakhstani food: plov, shashlyk, and baursaki
